Dawnelle Hyland is a recognized leader, trainer, and speaker in the fields of personal and organizational transformation. Since 1998, she has trained and coached leaders among education, government, not-for-profit, and general public audiences—most notably, the United Nations. In 1996, she was recognized by the White House for her award-winning visionary leadership programs for educators. She has worked in cities across the United States, Mexico, and West Africa. She currently leads the Level 1 (Discovery-Based) and Leadership transformational courses. At heart, Dawnelle is passionate about assisting people and teams to thrive–living lives of deep meaning, honor, joy, and contribution.
Dawnelle is a co-owner and founding partner, along with Dr. Ray Blanchard and Bettie Spruill, of Trainer Designs Global, a company committed to setting the professional standard for transformational trainer development across the globe. Dawnelle received trainer certification from Ray and Bettie in 2002, and dedicated her energies to opening the door for others who dream to be trainers to become bonafide professionals who are trained well. Trainer Designs Global cultivates a rich alliance of trainers and training centers. This alliance allows Dawnelle and her colleagues to be on the cutting edge of evolving six decades of research and practice in transformational learning technologies. Their work together translates into sustainable, empowering, and relevant tools that training participants can use to create lives of deep meaning and purpose–for the rest of their lives.
In addition to transformational training, Dawnelle is certified to train Crucial Conversations, Facilitative Leadership, DISC™, and Situational Leadership™. She is also a Certified Effectiveness Coach via an ICF-certifying organization. Dawnelle published a chapter on creating authentic partnerships in the pioneering volume of an Amazon management and leadership best seller, The Art and Science of Success.She is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She loves spending time with her family in North and South Carolina and traveling. She also has a heart for unique choral music.
